Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long does the hand-stamping take?
Every piece is made by hand in our London studio. Please allow 3-7 working days for us to craft, polish, and package your order before it is dispatched.

2. Can I change the personalisation after ordering?
We aim to start work within 24 hours. If you need to change a name or date, please email us immediately at support@kindsnout.com. Once the brass has been stamped, we cannot make changes.

3. Does the brass patina or rust?
We use high-grade solid brass. It will not rust, but it will develop a beautiful "patina" (a natural darkening) over time when exposed to the elements. This is a deliberate part of the artisanal character of Kindsnout memorials. If you prefer a shiny finish, it can be easily polished with a standard brass cleaner.

4. What is the "Rainbow Bridge" effect?
Our Sanctuary Altar and Gift Set include a K9 lead-free crystal. When placed in a sunlit window or area, it refracts natural light into a spectrum of rainbow colors on your walls—a peaceful daily reminder of the bond you share.

5. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship from the UK to the USA, EU, and beyond. International shipping typically takes 7-14 working days after our crafting period.
